Role Overview: A traveling Physical Therapist provides inpatient and long-term care therapy services in hospital and skilled nursing facilities. Under supervision, they perform diagnostic assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver rehabilitation and habilitation services to adult patients. Responsibilities include inpatient, SNF, and outpatient duties, with availability for variable shifts, weekends, and holidays. Experience with EMR systems like Meditech is preferred. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Active Hawaii state physical therapy license required.Minimum 6 months’ experience treating adults in inpatient, SNF, or outpatient settings.BLS certification may be required.Proficiency with EMR systems preferred. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in both inpatient/SNF and outpatient therapies.Knowledge of rehabilitation procedures and equipment used in varied care settings. Key Duties: Provide essential rehabilitation services, support interdisciplinary care, and contribute to patient recovery and functional independence. The role emphasizes patient-centered outcomes in diverse adult care environments.
