Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Damariscotta offers a coastal New England setting with access to outdoor recreation and local culture. The Damariscotta River runs through downtown, and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is about 20 miles away, offering waterfront views and a well-known historic landmark. Boothbay Harbor is roughly 15 miles south for boating and dining, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens spans more than 300 acres nearby. Camden Hills State Park is about 45 miles north for hiking and overlook views, and Portland is approximately 55 miles southwest for airport access and urban amenities.
Responsibilities
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Hours: 0800-1630
- 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
- Approximately 10 patients per day
- 45-minute evaluations and treatment sessions
- 30 minutes of scheduled documentation time built into the day
- Complete documentation and billing on the day services are delivered
- Vacation requests during the week of July 4th cannot be approved
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- Outpatient physical therapy experience
- Complete discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge or notification of discharge

Pay
Weekly, on-time pay is provided, along with full‑time pay, benefits, and relocation assistance in travel contracts.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 0800‑1630, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
