Physical Therapist - Travel Contract
About the Role
Join a traveling Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Manage caseloads that include transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL retraining.
- Demonstrate proficiency with documentation systems commonly used in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), with preference for electronic medical records experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active New Hampshire PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) required; prior SNF experience managing post-acute care and long-term residents preferred.
- Vaccination and health screening requirements will follow facility policy; additional client-specific requirements may be communicated during onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel PT experience.
- Experience with assistive device training and fall prevention programs.
