Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Presque Isle offers access to northern Maine recreation and regional conveniences. Aroostook State Park is about 10 miles from downtown and provides hiking, camping, and lake access, while the Nordic Heritage Center offers more than 20 miles of trails for cross‑country skiing and mountain biking. The city is home to the University of Maine at Presque Isle and the Presque Isle International Airport, giving clinicians both a college‑town setting and regional air access. Baxter State Park, home to Mount Katahdin, is within a few hours by car, and the area is known for four‑season outdoor activities including snowmobiling, fishing, and kayaking.
Responsibilities
- Help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.
- Travel between patient locations, up to 50‑100 miles per day.
- Complete orientation provided.
- Use Netsmart EMR system.
- Serve coverage area including Aroostook County.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA‑accredited school.
- Active state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification may be required (AHA or ARC).
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- ME state license.
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
