About the Role
A traveling Physical Therapist provides home health services within a defined 50-mile radius, conducting patient evaluations, recertifications, and follow-up visits. The position involves working days from 0800 to 1600, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and no on-call or weekend duties. Mileage between visits is reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, manage documentation, and deliver personalized home health care
- Utilize EMR systems like Homecare Homebase
- Adhere to clinical protocols and ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active Washington State PT license
- CPR certification; BLS may be required
- Home health experience, including evaluations, SOC, ROC, and recertifications
- Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius
- Willingness to follow a business casual dress code
