About the role
Traveling Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting, responsible for patient recovery and management of chronic conditions.
Key Duties
- Provide outpatient orthopedic care
- Collaborate with teams
- Manage patient caseload
- Contribute to patient recovery
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12-15 patients daily, providing evidence-based outpatient orthopedic care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient clinic throughput and support patient return to function
- Utilize EMR systems such as TheraOffice and ModMed
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Maryland license or ability to obtain licensure
- BLS certification may be required
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics and familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Ability to handle a caseload and treat diverse diagnoses, including spinal, joint, and workers' compensation cases
