Physical Therapist (Travel)

Role Overview The Physical Therapist - Journey Traveler provides nationwide travel-based rehabilitation services in various settings. Their responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized therapy programs, and referring to other disciplines as needed. They instruct and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence, supervise support personnel, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care. They adapt treatment plans based on patient progress, maintain documentation, and promote safety. Key Duties Assess, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs.Evaluate patients using appropriate tests; establish diagnoses and treatment goals.Supervise support staff and collaborate with the rehabilitation team.Design therapeutic techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.Train patients in mobility and the use of adaptive devices.Ensure safety, order supplies, and maintain equipment.Complete all documentation and coordinate referrals for comprehensive care. Qualifications & Skills Valid state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy.Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field, or Bachelor's plus 5 years of experience.Willingness to travel and reside temporarily in different locations.Evaluation of foreign degrees for U.S. equivalency if applicable.
