The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies is looking for a Senior Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team at the Medical Center University Campus. In this role, you will lead innovative care for patients facing complex challenges. This position is a 50% line.

Qualifications | Senior Physical Therapist

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.
• 2+ years of experience in Physical Therapy is necessary, with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility.
• Demonstrated skills in clinical education abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist (desirable).
• 3+ years of experience in one or more areas of assigned responsibility (desirable).
• Demonstrates leadership abilities (desirable).
• Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team (desirable).

Qualifications | Staff Physical Therapist

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.
• Entry level experience in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Physical Therapy (desirable).
• 1-3 years of experience in critical care/ICU Coverage (desirable).
• Demonstrates leadership abilities (desirable).
• Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team (desirable).
