About the role
The Outpatient Orthopedic/Sports Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of treatment programs to manage movement dysfunction, enhance physical and functional abilities with specific sports performance goals in accordance with physician orders. Our growing outpatient clinics are searching for PT’s with a passion for improving the quality of life for our patients and promoting wellness. Team collaboration and strong clinical reasoning are also necessary. We provide ATC’s to all the local high schools, allowing close working relationships with diverse sports populations. We have a highly experienced staff with low turnover and a commitment to specialty services through mentorship and continuing education. The Outpatient Therapy Clinic is a 7,500 sq./ft. facility with eleven private treatment rooms within and connected to the Health and Fitness Center. We also utilize a 3,000 sq./ft. Performance Institute for performance development. We are also committed to providing state of the art equipment for therapy including Keiser machines, Dorsi Vi motion analysis, Owens Recovery BFR and much more. Close collaboration with our 7 High School site ATC program including on site exposure for injury prevention and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation, development and implementation of treatment programs to manage movement dysfunction, enhance physical and functional abilities with specific sports performance goals in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with team members to promote patient care and wellness.
- Provide clinical reasoning and support for treatment plans.
- Collaborate with local high school ATC program for injury prevention and performance improvement.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment for therapy.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in California.
- ABPTS Certified Sports or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist preferred.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in outpatient orthopedics required.
