Physical Therapist - School Based

About the role

We're currently interviewing Part-Time Physical Therapists who are passionate about working with school-aged children in the Coffee County School System for the 2025–2026 school year. A Full-Time opportunity is also available at NHC Tullahoma, treating patients in a skilled nursing setting during school holidays and breaks.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to school-aged children in the Coffee County School System
• Treat patients in a skilled nursing setting during school holidays and breaks at NHC Tullahoma
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Physical Therapist license
• Team-oriented and flexible clinician with strong communication skills
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric physical therapy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of children

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
