About the role
This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) role delivers pediatric physical therapy in home-based settings, working in close collaboration with experienced therapists. You will support individualized treatment plans, help children improve strength, mobility, and confidence, and partner with families to reinforce progress between visits. The position offers strong clinical supervision, meaningful hands-on work, and scheduling flexibility to support diverse career paths and life stages.
Responsibilities
- Support licensed therapists in implementing pediatric treatment plans in home-based settings
- Assist children in improving strength, mobility, coordination, and functional skills
- Educate and partner with families to reinforce therapeutic progress between visits
- Document patient responses and progress accurately in accordance with clinical guidelines
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active PTA license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
