Physical Therapist (PT) PRN

About the role

HSHS Rehabilitation Hospital is a new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility set to open in 2026. As part of Lifepoint Health, a diverse healthcare network, you'll be part of a team dedicated to improving the health of communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and functional levels.
• Provide physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments according to hospital and department policies.
• Work cooperatively with other members of the patient care team to maintain high standards of professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Assess patients' needs, identify appropriate interventions, and recommend changes to physicians as necessary.
• Perform assessments and reassessments as required, and accurately document QI scores.
• Treat adult and geriatric patients requiring an adult medical rehabilitation program.
• Identify and address patient pain affecting their ability to participate in rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
