About the role

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque seeks a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) for day shifts. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating a patient's rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, and planning and administering a treatment program which best meets that patient's individual functional capacity and tolerance to achieve that goal. All Physical Therapy treatments and modalities are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate a patient's rehabilitation potential
  • Establish realistic goals for patient recovery
  • Plan and administer treatment programs tailored to individual functional capacity and tolerance
  • Ensure all treatments and modalities adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Maintain the highest degree of quality patient care at all times

Requirements

  • Maintain a current New Mexico State PT License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
