Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health - Weekend
About the role
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Full-time weekend Physical Therapist (PT). This role requires working on Saturdays and Sundays, with flexible scheduling for the remainder of the week.
Physical Therapists at Enhabit examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities to improve mobility, function, independent self-care, and daily living skills. Specialty programs include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and Total Shoulder Replacement.
You will administer skilled care to clients in accordance with physician’s orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director, while also educating families and other members of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat patients with physical impairments through physical modalities.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, function, and independent self-care.
- Implement specialty programs such as Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, and joint replacement programs.
- Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services.
- Teach families and healthcare team members about patient care.
- Perform duties in accordance with physician’s orders and the established plan of care.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must carry automobile liability insurance.
- Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
- Must have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Must be able to drive in all types of weather conditions.
- Must hold a current Physical Therapist license in the state of employment.
