BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for full-time or part-time home health visits in the Central/Upper Bucks County area, serving adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis.
Responsibilities
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, ambulation patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
- Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy care plan, and participate in multidisciplinary care plans with nursing as appropriate.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touchpad tablet.
Requirements
- A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association (verified by school transcript or diploma).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Pay
Base pay ranges from $64.00 to $73.00 per point, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiation. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions.
