Physical Therapist (PT) - Home Health - Part Time - Exempt

About the role

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional care and support to patients with physical impairments. This part-time salaried position works 24 hours per week over 4 days and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.

The role focuses on improving patient mobility, function, and independence through physical modalities, while also educating families and healthcare team members. Specialty programs include Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and Total Shoulder Replacement.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities to improve mobility, function, and independent self-care.
• Administer skilled care in accordance with physician’s orders and the established plan of care.
• Teach families and other members of the healthcare team about patient care and treatment plans.
• Participate in specialty programs such as Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, and joint replacement programs.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving and maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of employment.
