About the role
The Staff Physical Therapist evaluates and treats impairments in muscle movement and function resulting from injury or disease. They also provide consultation and educational services to prevent or reduce physical disability, bodily malfunction, and pain.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' conditions and develop treatment plans
- Treat patients through various physical therapy methods
- Consult with patients and their families on preventive measures and self-care techniques
- Provide education and advice on maintaining physical health
Requirements
- No prior work experience required
- Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Physical Therapy
- Comprehensive knowledge of Physical Therapy treatment procedures
- BLS certification within 30 days
