Physical Therapist - PT - Full Time (Albany, NY)

The Teresian House in Albany, NY is a sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab facility with private rooms, a dedicated dementia unit (including sensory room, movie theatres, and libraries), a brand‑new gym, and multiple therapy spaces throughout the building. The rehab team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists who collaborate closely in a supportive, fast‑paced environment. The rehab director is described as flexible and a strong advocate for the team. SNF experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub‑acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Perform treatments, patient‑family education, and caregiver training
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team‑working environment
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist (PT/RPT) license or license‑eligible to practice in New York
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience with electronic documentation systems
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting
• Upbeat, team‑player attitude with multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced environment

Good Faith Hourly Rate Range: $40.00 – $50.00
