Physical Therapist (PT) for Home Health

About the role

The Physical Therapist (PT) will serve the San Mateo area and is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs
• Determine a treatment plan based on assessment
• Execute interventions to improve patient well-being
• Maintain accurate and discreet records
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

• Remarkable knowledge of physical therapy principles and methods
• Great skills in providing various treatments
• Profound ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
• Exceptional ability to understand the role of therapy in different contexts
• Exceptional ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
• Proven sound clinical reasoning in treating and planning patient care
• Ability to recognize and modify treatment plans as necessary

Qualifications

• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
• Physical Therapist license and registration by the state
• Completion of a Physical Therapist curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
• Bilingual a plus!
