Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all relevant laws and standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)Active licensure in the applicable statePreferred: at least one year of experience; new grads are welcomeCPR certification, obtained prior to or during orientation, and maintained throughout employment Key Responsibilities Implement and adjust treatment plans to meet patient goalsAssess and oversee care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and studentsCoordinate with patients, families, and support staff to plan careMaintain accurate documentation and utilize therapy software effectivelyParticipate in community health initiatives as appropriateEnsure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulationsDemonstrate professionalism, good body mechanics, and excellent customer serviceEngage in interdisciplinary communication and teamworkAssist in emergency procedures and maintain dependable attendance Skills and qualities: Strong communication, judgment, adherence to ethical standards, and physical ability to perform job duties.
