About the role

You help patients get well by assessing their needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering physical therapy. You are adaptable, skilled in teaching patients and caregivers, and enjoy working in diverse settings. You are a healer and helper, dedicated to restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing physical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve patient goals by designing and implementing physical therapy programs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions to improve mobility and strength.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Train patients and caregivers on the skills needed to promote independence and productivity.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience in physical therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • ACSM Certified Personal Trainer certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and principles.
  • Experience with patient assessment tools and equipment.
