Get to know your team: Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital offers state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from healthcare conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for individuals with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps to assist in reaching optimal function within their physical limitations.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or licensure eligible in Physical Therapy in the State of NM.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of related experience.
