About the role
The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients in a skilled nursing setting, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Assess patient progress
- Supervise therapy staff
- Ensure accurate documentation
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Provide care to a diverse population with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
- Active licensure in the applicable state
- Preferred one year of experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- CPR certification required
Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in post-acute care
- Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate professionalism and integrity
- Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and movement

- Provide excellent patient service
- Emphasize teamwork, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies, including safety and compliance standards
