Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses, and plans of care
• Formulate treatment goals
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients
• Measure and report outcomes
• Formulate and carry out discharge plans
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students
• Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals
• Comply with the Texas Physical Therapy Practice Acts and Rules

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous acute care or clinic experience
