About the role
The Physical Therapist position is available on a per diem basis in a CCRC setting located in North Branford, CT. The facility offers an excellent rehabilitation environment with state-of-the-art equipment and space.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats residents according to physician orders using various therapeutic procedures.
- Restores muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment.
- Relieves pain and improves movement and function.
- Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing support and information in the field of Physical Therapy.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in CT or eligible for licensure.
- DPT or PT degree.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or long-term care (IL).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for improving patients' quality of life through rehabilitation.
