About the role
Evaluates and treats patients using a variety of therapeutic interventions to rehabilitate physical and developmental disorders.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develops and oversees individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Promotes patient independence.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve discharge and recovery goals.
- Ensures programs address physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Advocates for patients and coordinates efforts across care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term, community, and home health care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of growth and development principles.
- Less than one year of experience is typically expected.
