About the role

The staff Physical Therapist functions under the general supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services. The PT is responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing a designated group of patients according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Administer modalities as prescribed
• Adapt to emergency situations and changes in patient conditions
• Maintain accurate records and report patient progress
• Operate equipment used in the physical therapy practice

Requirements

• Graduate of or have a certificate from an APTA-approved school of PT
• Current CPR certification
• MS state licensure as a PT
• Preferred minimum of two years clinical experience
• Ability to perform basic computer skills
