Physical Therapist, PRN

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity. Services are delivered across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, revise goals with patient and family input, and provide education and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians on treatment and discharge plans, document evaluations and treatments, and serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy; valid PT license; BLS certification. Must have effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills. Adheres to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism. Participates in ongoing professional development and mandatory training. Key Duties: Conduct patient assessments, develop and revise treatment plans, document care according to protocols, educate patients and families, and promote a positive, respectful environment. Ensures safe, efficient use of resources and supports organizational goals in patient care and service excellence.
