Physical Therapist - PRN

About the Role

The Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual conditions. They measure patient progress, modify treatment strategies as needed, and educate patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients across all age groups
• Implementing and adjusting therapy programs for both simple and complex diagnoses
• Ensuring safety by understanding hazards and necessary precautions
• Educating patients on treatment plans and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
• Current Florida Physical Therapy license
• Good communication skills and proactive problem-solving approach
• Knowledge of physical therapy practices, equipment, and procedures
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services preferred
• Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant settings
