This involves:
- Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and the home environment
- Participating in the development of the total plan of care
- Coordinating delegates and supervising responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (PTA’s)
- If required, assisting with operational aspects of the department by participating performance improvement activities within the department and participating in all Quality Assurance activities
- Providing input in formulating budget, assisting in evaluating department performance versus budget controls, and taking appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines
- Participating in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs as indicated by the home health agencies
What You Need To Succeed (Competencies, Education)
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Certificate in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Must hold a valid license in the State of Ohio as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to read and comprehend patient information
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Combination of office and exam setting
- Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a radiology department
- Variety of activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting
- Requires full range of body motion including assisting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours

Qualifications
