About the role

PeteDME is building a nationwide network of home-based therapists who want to give patients with back, knee, and other musculoskeletal conditions more comprehensive care, and earn additional income from the patients they already treat. This opportunity is designed for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants currently practicing in home health, mobile outpatient, or another in-home clinical setting.

Integrated MSK Care is a simple clinical model that combines:

• Expert physical therapy
• Custom-fit orthopedic bracing
• Remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM)

How it works

• Start with bracing. Complete our orthopedic bracing training and certification at no cost, then provide custom-fit durable medical equipment to appropriate patients on your existing caseload.
• Add telehealth. Once you’re active in the bracing program, you can also provide telehealth MSK care from home, to your existing patients and to patients referred directly by PeteDME. Through virtual consultations, you’ll assess needs, support treatment plans, and help optimize recovery.

Requirements

• Current PT or PTA license
• Currently employed in home health or another in-home patient care setting (required)
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient care
