About the role

A Physical Therapist will be responsible for interpreting results of initial evaluation, determining appropriate patient goals, and developing a treatment plan. You will modify the treatment plan as needed and utilize appropriate treatment techniques. The experienced Pelvic Health Physical Therapist is willing to also treat orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction including incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and cancer-related conditions. Experience with pediatric pelvic health is a plus but not required. Clinicians are also willing to treat general orthopedic conditions when schedule allows.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction including incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and cancer-related conditions.
  • Treat orthopedic conditions when schedule allows.
  • Modify treatment plan as needed.
  • Utilize appropriate treatment techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit.
  • Experience with Pelvic floor conditions for both male and female and outpatient orthopedics. Experience with pediatric pelvic health is a plus but not required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with a variety of patients.
  • Ability to lift/transfer patients and treatment supply items without restriction.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule

Tues/Wed/Fri: 9:00am-5:00pm
