About the role

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach the highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT
  • Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA
  • Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience (Preferred)
