Physical Therapist, Part-Time, Acute Care - Bronson South Haven & Bronson Lakeview - **$10,000 Sign-On Bonus**

Evaluations and Treatment

• Evaluate patient functional abilities/disabilities through standardized assessment and testing
• Establish functional baseline for treatment progress
• Interpret and implement referrals
• Establish and document patient treatment plans
• Document progress and treatment modifications in the electronic health record

Education and Training

• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and rounds
• Conduct family and community education sessions
• Provide in-services in areas of expertise for the Bronson Rehabilitation System

Direct Patient Care

• Conduct individual and/or group Physical Therapy activities according to treatment plan
• Instruct patients in skills necessary for successful participation
• Design and fabricate splints and other assistive devices

Administration

• Document evaluations, patient treatment plans, and progress
• Maintain accurate and complete records
• Communicate limitations affecting timely documentation to leadership
• Serve on committees and task forces
• Supervise PTA, Rehab Clinical Assistant, PT students, PTA students, and volunteers

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing for the State of Michigan
• BLS required within 3 months after hire
• Current driver's license in the state of Michigan, availability of car for business use, and proof of insurance required
• Keyboarding skills to operate a PC/mobile device
• Effective communication skills
