Physical Therapist - Outpatient PRN

Role Overview

A licensed Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation. They utilize varied evaluation tools, develop personalized treatment protocols, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to adjust care as needed. The role involves educating patients and families, managing timely documentation, and ensuring smooth patient access to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, review history, perform assessments, and communicate findings to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.
• Implement treatment plans based on evaluations, consult with other providers, and adapt care for changing patient conditions.
• Complete discharge planning, document patient care accurately, and manage schedules to meet productivity standards.
• Engage in continuous education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland, DC, or Virginia as required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management, and teamwork skills.
