About the role
Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, aiming to enhance physical independence and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conducts evaluations
- Administers modalities and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after illness or injury
- Serves patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
- Oversees care provided by physical therapist assistants and may guide and orient staff members
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with BS, MS, or DPT degree
- Maintains current CEUs as required by the State
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Georgia or holds current compact privileges
- Must have BCLS certification through AHA
- Preferred: At least 2 years of relevant work experience
