PHYSICAL THERAPIST - OUTPATIENT CLINICS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly population.
• Community and geriatric nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment.
• Working knowledge of physical, mental and social needs of the frail elderly population.
• Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to work required schedule.
• Initial home visits are required and may be necessary for follow up as needed.
• Involves being inside and outside.
• Exposure to temperatures 32 degrees and less and 100 degrees or more, fumes, dust, and noise.
• Hearing within normal range.
• Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation and current drivers license valid in the state of Arkansas and appropriate automobile liability insurance.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
