Physical Therapist Outpatient

About the role

The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation, a division of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate preferred. Experience in a hospital, rehab, or ambulatory setting is required, with 2-3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with organizational policy and state regulations.
• Provides individual, family, and group therapy sessions for clients engaged in outpatient therapy.
• Participates in interdisciplinary groups for hospice patients and case conference meetings for home health patients.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Initial assessment of clinical needs using standardized tools and protocols, and facilitates recommendations for treatment.
• Records all pertinent data in the patient’s medical records.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Physical Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a hospital, rehab, or ambulatory setting, with pelvic health experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with only general supervision, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, intermediate-to-advanced ability to get work done through others, good oral and written communication skills, excellent coach and strong motivator, excellent problem-solving, case management, and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $90,084.80 - $117,696.80 annually, with a grade of 6.
