About the role

This exciting opportunity offers an experienced and dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join their team. The role involves providing top-tier rehabilitation care in an outpatient clinic, working closely with a diverse group of patients and contributing to their recovery and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Administering various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, and electrical stimulation), and patient education.
  • Educating patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals.
  • Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards.
  • Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
