Axes Physical Therapy is growing and seeking passionate Physical Therapists to join our team at the High Ridge Clinic. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make a meaningful impact on patients and the community while aligning with our core values.
About the role
As a Physical Therapist at Axes, you will evaluate and treat patients in accordance with high standards of care and ethical practice. You will play a key role in helping patients restore movement, improve quality of life, and achieve their recovery goals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in alignment with Axes' 8 Core Values
- Collaborate as an integral member of the healthcare team
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and physician information
- Stay current with professional development and continuing education
- Ensure a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment
- Evaluate patients per physician orders and provide evidence-based treatment plans
- Complete all documentation promptly and accurately (evaluations, daily notes, discharges, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with referral sources regarding patient progress
- Supervise support staff and delegate tasks appropriately
- Contribute to the development and delivery of new programs and services
- Adhere to APTA Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Maintain a patient treatment schedule aligned with clinic and leadership expectations
- Respect patient rights and encourage involvement in care decisions
- Support clinic growth through relationship-building and professional contributions, such as annual article submissions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Missouri
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
