Physical Therapist - OP Days

About the Role

A travel outpatient physical therapist evaluates, develops, and implements personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and function in a supportive, well-equipped outpatient facility. This temporary position in Santa Fe, NM serves a diverse patient population with a focus on quality care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine functional limitations and needs
• Administer therapies including exercises and modalities
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Supervise support staff and ensure compliance with standards
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Valid state physical therapy licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Outpatient therapy experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and develop effective treatment strategies
