Physical Therapist (Non-Exempt)

Find your calling at Mercy! Under supervision, performs objective assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients in a physical therapy setting. Provides direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, with general oversight of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Position Details Education: Bachelor, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the practice state. Certifications: BLS certified and current before independent patient care. Experience & Preferences: Six months to one year of rehab experience, preferably with adult and geriatric patients. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
