Evaluates patients, plans treatment programs, and performs physical therapy procedures
Evaluates patients, plans treatment programs, and performs physical therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, maximize potential and quality of life following disease, injury, or surgery.
Demonstrates and articulates sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing complex evaluation data and developing a comprehensive plan of care.
Develops and updates appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family/medical provider and related to the person's age and lifestyle with measurable goals and a defined discharge plan.
- Selects and administers appropriate assessment and treatment techniques.
- Follows intervention protocols and revises interventions appropriately.
- Interventions are outcomes focused and consistent with best practice and policies.
Supervises work of support personnel as needed
Participates in departmental programs and activities
Serves as a role model of quality clinical practice
Inpatient Rehab unit
Tue-Sat. Day shift.
Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program with either BS, MS or Doctorate degree
- Valid licensure with the State of North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy.
