About the role
The Physical Therapist II (PTII) will provide comprehensive Physical Therapy services, including evaluations, treatments, and supervision of staff and students.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and screening of patients for Physical Therapy services
- Plans and organizes specialized treatments for complex patients with multiple diagnoses
- Gathers, interprets, and documents medical, evaluation, and treatment information accurately
- Makes modifications in treatment methods to accommodate patients with difficult circumstances and multiple diagnoses
- Orients, supervises, and trains PTA’s, junior staff, and students
- Takes responsibility for workflow and assignments in various clinical areas, covering for absent staff
- Accurately records and maintains clinical records, patient billing, statistics, and schedules
- Communicates with supervisor regarding activities, progress, problems, etc.
- Supports and participates in departmental professional activities
- Attends and contributes to interdisciplinary, hospital, and departmental meetings
- Complies with all department, hospital, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Assists with durable medical equipment, performs stock, inventory, and ordering of supplies
- Maintains a tidy, organized, and clean work area
Requirements
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist license or eligibility to sit for the state board exam with confirmation letter
- CPR certification
- Prior pediatric experience preferred
- Prior outpatient experience preferred

$47.813 to $56.271 per hour
Salary is commensurate with years of experience indicated at time of application submission.
