About the role

The Physical Therapist II (PTII) will provide comprehensive Physical Therapy services, including evaluations, treatments, and supervision of staff and students.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and screening of patients for Physical Therapy services
  • Plans and organizes specialized treatments for complex patients with multiple diagnoses
  • Gathers, interprets, and documents medical, evaluation, and treatment information accurately
  • Makes modifications in treatment methods to accommodate patients with difficult circumstances and multiple diagnoses
  • Orients, supervises, and trains PTA’s, junior staff, and students
  • Takes responsibility for workflow and assignments in various clinical areas, covering for absent staff
  • Accurately records and maintains clinical records, patient billing, statistics, and schedules
  • Communicates with supervisor regarding activities, progress, problems, etc.
  • Supports and participates in departmental professional activities
  • Attends and contributes to interdisciplinary, hospital, and departmental meetings
  • Complies with all department, hospital, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Assists with durable medical equipment, performs stock, inventory, and ordering of supplies
  • Maintains a tidy, organized, and clean work area

Requirements

  • Current Illinois Physical Therapist license or eligibility to sit for the state board exam with confirmation letter
  • CPR certification
  • Prior pediatric experience preferred
  • Prior outpatient experience preferred

    Pay

    $47.813 to $56.271 per hour
    Salary is commensurate with years of experience indicated at time of application submission.

    Schedule

    Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM
