Job Description

The Physical Therapist II will provide Physical Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. This individual will demonstrate accountability for, and contribution to, the Department’s daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested. Exhibit fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping of assigned work shifts (which includes compliance with management-designated start/end times).

Participate in program development and quality improvement activities as requested by management. Adhere to the Department’s established productivity standards. All responsibilities will be carried out in a manner reflective of El Camino Health’s We Care values and Medical Staff Code of Conduct and Professional Behavior.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Physical Therapy Program; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care
• Mets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist
• Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current valid California Physical Therapy license, Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider, CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics

Salary Range

$62.76 - $83.41 USD Hour

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting.

Position is Enterprise Wide

Employees will be required to float between campuses.

This position can serve the following age groups: neonate/child (0-3), child (4-12), adolescent (13-17), adult (18-64), and older adult (65+).

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

• Current valid California Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider
• CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics
