Physical Therapist I or II - Outpatient

Essential Job Functions

• Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients.
• Conducts thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administers therapeutic exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
• Collaborates with others in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
• Maintains documentation of patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborates with teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes.
• Affords assistance with orientation and training of new staff and demonstrates a commitment to improving the performance and skills of co-workers.

Requirements

• North Carolina license by the NCPT Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
