Role Overview
A licensed Physical Therapist provides patient assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and supervises Physical Therapy Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations of patient's physical functioning
- Discussing plans with physicians
- Executing treatments
- Instructing home exercise programs
- Monitoring patient progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Reporting changes in patient status
- Ensuring professional conduct and compliance with regulatory policies
- Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited PT program
- Valid State of Texas license
- Minimum of one year of current experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience under supervision of a licensed PT
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
