Essential Job Functions
- Performs a comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and safety assessment of assigned patients as evidenced by clinical documentation.
- Develops a Plan of Care to promote optimum function and safety as documented in the clinical record.
- Captures and coordinates patient care with other providers ensuring optimal patient care and effective communication as noted in the clinical record.
- Maintains and enhances personal knowledge as well as promoting professional standards in physical therapy.
- Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens.
- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times.
- Follows HIPAA regulations and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Degree in physical therapy (PT)
- Current state PT license
- CPR certification
- Basic understanding of physical therapy services across the spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care.
Work Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week
