We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time, live-in role in a private home health setting in Brighton, MI. You will provide hands-on physical therapy and care for two patients (owners) in their 50s–70s, support light household tasks, and assist with animal care when owners travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized physical therapy sessions and ongoing mobility support for two adult patients (homeowners in their 50s–70s).
- Support light household tasks and assist with basic animal care when owners travel.
- Perform home checks and ensure animal well-being during owners' absence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license (required to start the position).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical physical therapy experience (new graduates will not be considered).
- Comfortable working in a private home health environment and providing one-on-one care to adults (ages 50s–70s).
- Willingness to live on-site in a separate private house within the owners' compound (housing and utilities provided).
- Comfortable with animals and able to provide basic animal care.
- Flexible scheduling availability for daytime shifts (no Fridays).
- Calm, polite, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong preference for candidates local to the Brighton, MI area.
