Physical Therapist - Ft. Wayne
Overview
IU Health is seeking team members committed to providing exceptional care. Located at Ball Memorial (Muncie), this role will transition to Future Ft. Wayne Hospital upon completion, expected in 2027. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with one Saturday per month.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provides physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance patient performance
- Supervises physical therapist assistants, support staff, and students
- Supports patient care, education, and department operations

Requirements
- Doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited program, or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in physical therapy prior to 2016 (foreign-trained candidates must have equivalent coursework)
- Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
- Advanced life support certifications may be required based on department specialty policies
Qualifications
Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. For foreign-trained candidates, education must be educationally equivalent to U.S. programs and accepted by the Indiana PLA.
